本課程的設計以歷史趨勢的闡述及專題研究分析二方面同時進行。內容包括民族、社會、文化精神，中國歷代政治得失之分析，中國農業經濟之特性，歷代考選、財賦、土地制度之變遷。授課方式以口頭講述為主，討論及書面報告為輔，期使學生除通盤瞭解中國歷史精神與特性外，並能具有獨立分析問題之能力。

This
course is comprised of two parts: introduction to
the development of the Chinese history and studies
on special topics of Chinese history. Major topics
includes ethnical, social, and cultural problems;
the advantages and disadvantages of the political
policies of different dynasties; the characteristics
of the agricultural economy in the history of China;
the evolution of civil service examination systems,
of financial structures, and of land policies. Class
activities include lectures and discussions. Students
are also expected to make oral and written reports
so that they may have not only a comprehensive understanding
of the essence of Chinese history, but also the
ability of independent thinking and analysis. |
